What kind of carpentry do you take on?
Everything from a single fitted wardrobe to a fully insulated garden room. Indoor joinery, fitted furniture, decking, fencing, pergolas, stairs and full renovation carpentry. If it's made of timber, it's likely something we build.
Do you work for homeowners or for builders?
Both. Most of our work comes directly from homeowners, but a good share is carpentry packages on jobs a builder is running. If you already have a contractor, we'll work to their programme.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
Someone who is actually on the tools reads it, not a call centre. We come back within one working day with questions, a rough steer on cost, or a time to call out and measure up.
Can you help if I'm not sure what I want yet?
That's most people at the start. Tell us roughly what you're trying to achieve and we'll tell you what's possible and what it's likely to cost. If there's a cheaper way to get the same result, we'll say so.
Will the same people do the whole job?
Yes. The person who measures your job is the person who builds it. We don't subcontract the work on and hope for the best, which is why details stay consistent from one room to the next.
Do you tidy up as you go?
Every day. Dust sheets down, cuts made outside or with extraction where we can, tools and materials off the stairs, and the floor swept before we leave. Offcuts and old timber go with us.
