How much will my job cost?
Honestly, nobody can tell you over the phone without seeing it. What we can do is call out, measure up and give you a written, itemised, fixed price, free and with no obligation. If you want a rough steer before that, send a few photos and we'll give you a range.
Do you charge for a quote or a call-out?
No. Quotes and call-outs to measure up are free across every area we cover.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the size of the job and what's already booked. Small jobs can often start within a week or two; garden rooms and full renovations are usually further out. We'll give you a real date rather than an optimistic one, and tell you straight away if it slips.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured. We're happy to send you the details before work starts. You're entitled to ask any tradesman for that, and you should.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Workmanship is guaranteed, and materials carry whatever the manufacturer's warranty is. If something isn't right, ring us and we'll come back and sort it.
How does payment work?
A deposit to cover materials, then staged payments on larger jobs against agreed milestones, with the balance on completion once you're happy. It's all set out in the quote, so there are no surprises at the end.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. Not every job is a garden room. Hanging a few doors, fixing a gate that won't latch, building a set of shelves. Small jobs are welcome and often how people try us out before something bigger.
Can I supply my own materials?
Of course. We can supply everything or fit materials you've bought yourself. Tell us at the quote stage so the price reflects it, and check sizes with us before ordering, because that's where it usually goes wrong.
What do you need from me to give a quote?
A rough idea of what you want, the address, and photos if you have them. Measurements help but aren't essential, since we'll take our own. Even a screenshot of something you liked online is a useful starting point.
